The New Trier High School District 203 Strategic Plan, “New Trier 2030,” includes a commitment to promote “Culture, Climate, and Equity” and recognizes that “(a)ll people at New Trier must be welcomed, respected, supported, and valued so students can learn effectively, develop deeper understanding of the complex issues they face, and become empowered to contribute to the school community. This is possible when staff and students learn from and reflect on their own and others’ diverse lived experiences.” Join area K-12 administrators and teachers to learn more about the role our education system plays in helping students understand and navigate the legacy and impact of structural racism and other intersectional structures of inequity and oppression.
Join community leaders for a series of Zoom discussions before the Juneteenth (June 19th) walk in the New Trier School District.
